Strictly Pancakes

Today is the first day of prelims and I'm demoralized already. EL P2 was a killer. I screwed P1 up. Which makes me x10000 afraid of Os now. Fuck this, how am I going to ace Os when I can't even be sure that I'll pass my prelims? Zz, I wished I was english educated since young. As in, I wished my family speaks english and I'm naturally good at english since young! But sadly my family speaks chinese and I can't even get an A2 for chinese zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... feeling so fked up now and no motivated to study for the remaining paper. UGH!
Can't wait for prelims to end! By then I can relax a bit. But am also afraid to face the results. Can predict that it'll be bad already. sighpie. i wanna eat nice food, go out take photos, sing and have fun!


OH YA! Last sunday, I finally ate Strictly Pancakes after like 2 years of craving! I'm serious! I remember 2 years back, sec3, I was reading ladyironchef's blog, where he blogs and rates on the food he ate. So yup there was a post about Strictly Pancakes! When I read and scrolled through the photos i was like "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH"!!! HAHA DID I MENTION I REALLY REALLY LOVE PANCAKES!? If i didn't, then now you know! So yes then Strictly Pancakes have been in my list-to-go until last sunday! Sec 3 and 4 I did not have plans to go there because that time I didn't have money and all.. only until last year's November~December period I started to have some money because I worked! Haha but I guess no one was really interested because Strictly Pancakes was not very famous back then!
I'm really thankful to have jiajun to plan out this outing for my belated bday celebration hahaha! Wendy also suggested to go there after prelims! I do not mind going again though! :)

We had to queue up for seats! I was so excited already! We ended up settling at outside because the people inside were taking too long, and there was a lot of people!


I ordered What A Spread! Haha I already knew what I wanted even before arriving at the actual location! Have been anticipating for this moment FOR SO LOOONG!

The pancake itself was good, however I felt that the overall with the sauce and all was a little too sweet! Plus the kinder bueno, it was even sweeter! The pancake batter was peanut butter flavoured, and between pancakes there was Nutella spread! The vanilla ice-cream went well with the pancakes! So if you do not like peanut butter of Nutella, you should not order this hahaha! Coz the peanut butter taste was strong (which is good)! I gave jiajun try this pancake and he was shocked to know that it's peanut butter flavored! Now I know he dislikes peanut butter, haha! Also, if you're someone who cannot take sweetness too much, avoid this too. I am someone who LOVES sweet stuff and I find this a little too sweet already!
I could not finish the whole of it and had to give some to boonkang and jiajun! ha! When I was eating and jiajun was looking at the menu (they actually wanted to order another one) he told me you can actually downsize your set to 2 pancakes by deducting away $1! You might find it not worth it like deduct only $1 for one pancake?! But trust me chances are you will be unable to finish the whole thing haha!! Unless you share with a friend! then I think it'll be just nice haha!! Overall it's great, but too much of it really 'erases' the awesome taste when you first tasted it! If you absolutely love pancakes, you should try dining here!

Okkk update update! In my previous update I've missed out something important haha! Which is my haircut! So yup, last saturday I had an really strong urge to have my long fringe snapped off! So yes i'm left with bangs now! The only thing I dislike about my hair now is the thickness. My hair is TOO THIN. As such my bangs had many ugly gaps in between. Haha my hair grows really slow and I only have haircut like once a year, because it grows too slow I swear. So here's a pic of my new hairstyle! I swept it to a side because the gaps are too ugly haha!! Been so long since I have short fringe! The last time I had it was like last year?!

Just received a text from JJFC that JJ's concert tickets are ready for collection this sunday! I can't be anymore excited! As mentioned in my previous post, he will be coming to SG for an autograph session, but only with concert tickets you can join in the session! OK, I am EVEN more excited for prelims to end now! 6 sep! 6 sep! 6 sep!
